Natalie went to the doctor yesterday for her well baby check, she weighs 20 lbs 6 oz and is 27". She got all of the shots, including the flu shot and H1N1. She will go back in January for another set. Natalie was not too excited at the doctor's office!! First, she was examined by an intern, and Natalie did pretty well for that exam... then the doctor came in and did the exact same exam on her... and that was just too much for her! She screamed her little head off!! Then it was time for her shots... Daddy had to help hold her down, and once she started crying I started crying, so I left the room. Once it was all over I got to go cuddle with her :) She recovered from the trauma of shots a lot faster this time than the previous 2 times. She wasn't fussy at all once we left the office. Recently Natalie has been waking up during the night, and we learned this is normal... Around 6 months babies start this, but it will pass. It was reassuring to know it wasn't just Natalie, most babies do this. I remember my mom telling me about my brother Tyler, he would wake up in the middle of the night and decide it was play time!!

Overall, Natalie's appointment went well and she is right on track with all of her milestones. Her skills are between a 6 month old and a 9 month old. Perfect!

Recently Natalie has been trying some new foods, and so far has enjoyed all of them. We also gave her a sippy cup to try, but that didn't go so well... She hasn't figured out how to get anything out of the cup.

Natalie had her 1st cold, it started the day after Thanksgiving. Other than the 1st day it wasn't too bad, she mostly just had a stuffy nose. She is all better now.

The last couple nights she has woke up, and not wanted to go back to sleep, she is wide awake! Were hoping this phase passes soon!

She now weighs 20 pounds 7 ounces, and is 27 inches!! I can't believe my little girl will be 7 months in just a couple weeks, time has gone by so fast!

Today we all went to see Santa!! Natalie did great, and she didn't even cry!! We were expecting lots of tears, but she didn't seem to be scared of Santa (Grandma said it was because she knew he would bring her toys). The line was not bad either, there was only 1 kid in front of us.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

My parents came to visit for Thanksgiving weekend, we picked them up last night from the airport. On the way home we had a little scare, Natalie started choking... I took her out of her car seat to hit her back, she threw up and was ok, but it was still scary. Tyler came over after he got off work and we celebrated my dad's birthday.

Today my mom kept busy in the kitchen cooking our traditional Thanksgiving meal, which includes homemade noodles, delicious! We were looking forward to a yummy pumpkin pie for dessert, but it was burnt... someone (I wont mention any names... mom...) forgot about it. But we still love her :) And we have an apple pie from Costco that will be just as delicious! Afterwards we took family pictures.

I know it has been awhile since I have blogged, but Natalie is doing great! She is starting to eat a variety of foods, and so far has loved them all. She is working on crawling, right now she is scooting around to get where she wants, but it wont be long until she can crawl. She is also learning to sit up, right now she usually balances herself with one of her hands.

Tonight we went over to our friend's house and took Natalie and her kids trick or treating. It was a lot of fun, and since Natalie can't eat her candy, mommy and daddy will help her out :)
