Today Natalie had her 2 week well baby check. She weighs 8 pounds and 2 ounces, the pediatrician was very happy with her weight. She is eating 3 ounces every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, he says as we increase the amount she eats per feeding she will sleep for longer periods... I already can't wait to have her sleep through the night!! Her next appointment will be her 2 month check.

Yesterday was the pinning ceremony for those who advanced. Natalie and I went to watch Charlie. I have never been able to be there for Charlie for any of his Navy accomplishments, so I was really happy I could be there for this ceremony. They announced the new arrivals to the Navy family, and Natalie was one of the newest members :)

Grandma Mima has been here for the past week, and JP came to visit yesterday. They leave tomorrow, then Grandpa Paul and Cynthia come to visit on Monday. Natalie is having a lot of visitors!

Something so simple is so adorable!!

We got some good news... The pediatrician called and Natalie's chromosome test came back, everything is perfect! She is a healthy little girl. We knew she was ok, but it was very reassuring to have the test results back anyways.

She had her first "real" bath since her umbilical cord fell off. She was ok with some parts, but pretty much was crying the whole time.

Natalie is making a lot of funny faces, and it seems as if she is smiling... even though we know they are not real smiles yet, they are still adorable!!

Life is perfect! Our little Natalie is still doing great and is absolutely amazing! 

On Friday a nurse from the children's hospital came to our house. This is something San Diego offers when you have a new baby. The nurse gave us a lot of information, like what to do when our baby gets sick. She also answered all of our questions. She weighed Natalie, and she has gained a couple ounces. We were glad to hear that her weight is still going up. Also on Friday Natalie's unbillica cord stump fell off. It surprised us because it happened a lot sooner than we were expecting.

Saturday Grandma Mima got here, she is staying for a week to visit with Natalie.

Now, good news for Charlie... He passed his advancement exam, and is now a second class!! We are both so excited :) Next week sometime they are having a pinning ceremony at his office, and me and Natalie are going to go watch.

Natalie is doing great! We have been loving every second of her!! She is such an easy baby to take care of and so so adorable!

She had her 1st doctor's appointment yesterday. She had lost a little weight, which is normal, but the doctor wanted to check her weight again today to make sure it was not going down too much. Today the doctor said her weight was just fine. Also yesterday he said her jaundice was borderline needing photo therapy, so he wanted to check that again today too. It turned out ok, and will not need the photo therapy. Her next appointment will be her 2 week check.

Today we played dress up, and ended up taking 141 photos!!
