On Wednesday my mom came out for a visit, she was only able to stay 2 nights but we had a lot of fun. Natalie did great, she warmed up to Grandma quickly and was being very cuddly with Grandma that night. While my mom was here she bought Natalie a baby stroller, which is actually a walker too. Natalie loves playing with it, and is able to walk with it a little, but is still a little wobbly. Today my mom had to go home, but will be coming back out in a week with my grandparents to help us move.

A few pictures...

At this point she decided nothing was allowed to ride in the stroller anymore,
now anything we put in there comes right out!! It's so funny!!

Yesterday we signed our lease, and on March 8th we are moving into our new place! I can't wait!! The apartment we are in now isn't set up for a baby, and in the new place Natalie will have her own playroom.
A couple days ago I decided to go for a run with Charlie, we only ran 1 mile, but by time we were through my lungs were on fire! But I enjoyed the run and am planning on getting a jogging stroller so I can start running more often with Natalie.
Tyler hung out with us this weekend (he babysat while we went for our run), and I have to say... he is a very good manny!! We kept teasing him about this, but its true! We went to Babies R Us to look at some baby gates and a few other things, and while me and Charlie looked around Tyler pushed Natalie in her stroller and kept her occupied. Now I know we have a babysitter in town :) Plus Natalie loves her Uncle Tyler!!

We dressed Natalie up in a little ballerina outfit, and of course took a few pictures...

Last night I was laying on the floor watching TV and Natalie started crawling all over my back, it was hilarious! Her are a few pictures...

She was trying to get my eye lashes in this picture...

Natalie had her 9 month well baby check, and she is doing great. This time we had a nice surprise... NO SHOTS!! Although I was not as worried this time like I usually am because when she got her flu shot boosters last month she didn't even cry!! It was like nothing even happened... thats how Charlie explained it to me since I had decided to wait in the waiting room for that set of shots. I'm very proud of my big girl! She now weighs 22 pounds 5 ounces, and is 28 inches long. Developmentally she is right where she should be, so thats great to know. She was very social with the doctor this time, usually she doesn't really want them touching her, but she didn't seem to mind this doctor... probably because this doctor was a little more fun and goofy than the ones we have seen in the past. While we were there they gave Natalie a Dr. Seuss book, The Shape of Me. Natalie loved the book, but it didn't take her too long before she started eating the book.
Both Charlie and me had birthday's this past week, we turned 26! Mine was on the 9th, and unfortunately Charlie had to work that whole day but brought me home my favorite dinner and a cake, he even sang Happy Birthday to me all by himself :) He is so sweet! His birthday was on Valentine's Day, we went shopping at the outlet mall and that night we had a chocolate cheesecake for his birthday.
While Charlie's mom was here visiting she babysat for us Saturday night so we could go on a date. We had dinner at PF Changs, and it was delicious. Afterwards we were going to see the movie Valentine's Day, but since the wait was so long at dinner (almost 2 hours) we missed the movie. But thats ok, instead we got dessert and went home.
Today we went to go look at the new place we are moving into, but apparently we got some mixed up information.... The house is still occupied so we can't see it until the day we move in! So we were a little disappointed this morning, but thats ok since tomorrow we can go back and see a model home.

Charlie and me on date night :)
Close up!

On Saturday one of my friends from Arizona came to visit us with her husband, her daughter, and her mom. That night Angela, her husband Drai, Charlie, Natalie and I went to Supercross. It was rainy, but thankfully our seats were in a covered area!! In the beginning there was a swearing in, I believe it was for the Air Force. This was such a big moment in these people's lives, it was pretty cool to be there and watch. I have only seen it once before, and it was for my brother Tyler. Natalie did great at the races, and was even able to fall asleep! I have no idea how, it was so loud... she must have been really sleepy. It was kind of funny that the noise from the fireworks didn't bother her at all, but for some reason she is terrified of the vacuum!
Yesterday we went to SeaWorld, it was Natalie's first visit. She seemed to enjoy being there, even though she is still a little young to enjoy all the shows and exhibits. We spent most of the day there, and later that night they came over to watch the Super Bowl which we had recorded.

and refused to do the show!
This guy kept rubbing his head, like he had a headache! He was cute!
The dolphin show was not open, but we were still able to visit them.
I think these dolphins are boyfriend and girlfriend :)

I just wanted to let everyone know Charlie has started his own blog, I have added the web address under "Our Favorite Sites".
Today we were trying to take some pictures of Natalie, and it was pretty much impossible to get her to sit still now that she has learned to get around on her own!! She is in love with the preview channel on TV, so we turned that on hoping to get her to sit still long enough to snap a few good shots. That helped a little, but she just wasn't in the mood for picture time.
BUT, since we bought her an outfit specifically for these pictures, we took them anyways. Here's what we got...

Watching the TV
Watching Mommy while Daddy was trying to take a picture...
I think we were bothering her while she was trying to watch TV, lol...

It seems every time I get on here to blog the same thought enters my mind... Its been a long time since my last blog!! I guess life gets pretty busy with an 8 month old baby!
This past month Natalie has grown so much!! She is crawling around like crazy, and is even standing! Most of the time she holds onto the couch and cruises around that way, but the last few days she has been letting go, and she can balance pretty well on her own. We know its only a matter of time before Natalie starts walking. She has got 2 teeth and loves to bite us, or really anything she can get into her mouth! These tiny little teeth are so sharp they leave marks! She hardly fussed at all when her teeth were coming in, and hopefully that will be the case for the rest of her teeth. During meals she decided she does not need to wear a bib anymore and is constantly taking it off. Last night she discovered she can spit food when she eats... As funny as it was at the time I tried to control my laughter, I don't want Natalie to think that its ok to spit food every night at dinner! We have recently found out Natalie is ticklish... and she just giggles and giggles while trying to grab our hands.
Over this past weekend my Grandma Toshiko came out to visit with my parents. It was only a short little trip, but it was nice to see everyone. It still takes Natalie a while to warm up to people when they visit, so by time she started getting comfortable with everyone it was time for them to leave. We all went to Seaport Village the day they came, and then the next day we visited Tyler and took a tour of his ship.

Here are a few pictures from this past month:

She has actually learned to take her arm out!
No matter how many toys she has,
nothing is more fun than playing with diapers!

I guess she was a little sleepy...
She decided to wedge herself into the corner, and play...
