Today we met Miss America!!

Katie Stam was at the Navy base doing a cooking demonstration, she made peach salsa. Before the demonstration we were able to meet her and take pictures. After she was done we lined up for autographs. Natalie was chosen to receive a gift from Miss. America and the Navy. It was to recognize the "little heros".

Natalie is getting so big so fast!

She is holding her head up pretty well now. She will look around, and observe. She is enjoying her play gym, it lights up and plays music. She will smile and make cute little noises!! She LOVES kisses!!! You can kiss her chubby cheeks or right on the lips and she smiles. Its so cute! Today we cut her nails for the first time, I didn't know I would be so nervous... Daddy held her while I clipped. We all did great :)

We got her hand prints a couple days ago, and lets just say that was an experience we wont forget. We had one angry baby!!!

She still sleeps in our arms a lot of the night, but she is learning to sleep in her swing. Her crib would be better, but she is cuddled in her swing so she likes it better. Hopefully soon we wont be holding her during the night except to feed her (and give her a few kisses).

This past weekend Charlie's family came to visit. They arrived Thursday night and stayed until Monday morning. It was his mom, cousin Carolina, and brother Jesse. Friday we went to the beach, Charlie and Jesse were the only ones crazy enough to get into the freezing cold water!! The girls stayed warm on the sandy beach. Then Friday night, we left Natalie with the "babysitters" and went to the hot tub. It was so nice!! I have been wanting to go hot tubbing for a long time, but over the past couple years I have not been able... When you are pregnant going into the hot tub is a big no-no, you don't want to cook the baby! We also had chocolate covered strawberries, yummy! Then for 4th of July we cooked hot dogs here for lunch, and watched Bride Wars. Then went to watch fireworks at the Naval Base with some of Charlie's friends from work and their children. Natalie did great! She didn't cry at all, she actually slept through the whole thing!!
