My doctor's appointment went great on Tuesday, they heard the heartbeat!! It was 180 beats per minute. Perfect. The due date I was using (June 3rd) is not the one they are using. According to the baby's measurements, that was the due date. But they are going off my LMP and according to that, the baby is due May 28th. So I am farther along than I thought, I am 10 weeks today. The baby is the size of a small plum. On November 18th I go for my detailed ultrasound, they will measure the back of the baby's head to make sure it is normal size. I am expecting everything will be ok.
One of my mom's friend's gave us a gift for Landon that is really special, she donated a tree to be planted in Landon's memory. Today I met with the lady to discuss the details, Charlie and I had decided to plant the tree in Jackrabbit park, and before he left, we picked a spot. I am not sure what the name of the tree is, but it will be full and green :) We will be planting the tree in a couple weeks, and the plaque will be there shortly after. Families can help plant the tree, so I am hoping everyone can make it out there.
I went to visit Landon today, and brought him a pumpkin. I know things are not suppose to be on their graves until next week (because of the Winter grass), but its small, so I think its ok. Grandma Carla got the little pumpkin teddy for Landon.
News on Charlie... His school is going good, and he is super busy. They extended his 2nd school an extra month, so we are not too excited about that. He wont be coming home for Thanksgiving, and as of right now we are not too sure if he'll be able to come back for Christmas either. If he does not come home for Christmas I am going out there. We will probably know within a week whats going to happen.
