Recently we have realized we have a little issue... Natalie will only sleep in our arms. We are able to lay her down once she is sleeping, but she will wake up shortly after. So of course its very hard for either of us to get any sleep unless we are sleeping with her in our arms. So as I sat at the computer at 2AM this morning, Natalie in my arms of course, I decided to google this situation... Well I guess this is a very common issue!! I found so many discussion on this topic! But I was wondering if anyone reading this blog has any advice??
Natalie is starting to become more aware of the world around her, and it is such a neat thing to watch her observing everything thats going on. At times we think she is smiling... but I'm sure its still a little too early.

Have you tried swaddling her? That used to work really well for Lucas. We also had him sleep in our bed for the first four months, then did some 'sleep training'. When he slept with us, I would nurse him to sleep, then when he would wake up I would roll over, nurse him again, and he would be out..... plus it didn't interfere with my sleep too much because I would fall back asleep while nursing. Hope this helps :)
I had the same problem with my first one. Then someone gave t=me the suggestion of putting a heating pad in her bed just long enough to heat it up, then take it out. Then she won't go from warm arms to a cold bed. It worked really well for me. My cousin who has a new baby said it worked for her to. Natalie is gorgeous by the way.
